Version 0.1 (draft)

This website is attorney advertising.

Who we are

MalpracticeAttorneys.com is operated by [OPERATOR LEGAL NAME], [ADDRESS], support@malpracticeattorneys.com. We operate an attorney advertising and lead-generation service. Under the Rules Regulating The Florida Bar, a service like ours is called a “qualifying provider.”

We are not a law firm

We are not a law firm, and no attorney works for us to represent or advise you. We do not provide legal services or legal advice, and nothing on this website is legal advice. Our name describes the kind of attorneys we connect people with. It does not mean we are attorneys.

We are not The Florida Bar Lawyer Referral Service or a lawyer referral service approved by The Florida Bar. The Florida Bar does not endorse or approve us, this website, or any participating attorney.

Participating attorneys pay us

Attorneys and law firms that participate in our service pay us to take part. It is free for you. What participating attorneys pay us is never a percentage or share of anything an attorney charges you, and it never depends on whether they take your matter or how it turns out.

Payment to participate is not a recommendation or endorsement. We do not rank attorneys, compare their skills or experience, or claim that any participating attorney is better than one who does not participate.

How we connect you with an attorney

We connect you with a participating attorney based on objective factors: where the care took place, the type of concern you describe, and which participating firms have availability. We do not evaluate whether you have a claim.

Before we share anything, we tell you the name of the participating law firm and the city, town, or county of its office, and we ask for your approval. We send your request to one participating firm at a time. Every participating attorney must be licensed to practice law in the state where your matter is located.

Where we operate

We accept requests only about care that took place in Florida, and we can’t yet accept requests from people who live in California, Colorado, Connecticut, New Jersey, New York, Texas, or Washington. If we can’t help, we’ll tell you before you share details of what happened.

Your matter may be referred

A participating attorney may refer your matter to another lawyer or law firm, or work on it together with another firm.

No attorney–client relationship

Contacting us, sending a request, or being connected with a participating attorney does not create an attorney–client relationship with us or with that attorney. An attorney–client relationship forms only when you and an attorney both agree to it.

Because we are not your lawyer, information you send us may not be protected by attorney–client privilege. Please share only what our form asks for.

No guarantees

We cannot guarantee that a participating attorney will be available, will contact you within any particular time, or will accept your matter. No one can guarantee the outcome of a legal matter.

Deadlines

Legal claims have strict deadlines that vary by state. Sending us a request does not file a claim or stop any deadline. Speak with an attorney promptly.

Complaints

Each participating attorney is independently licensed and responsible for their own professional conduct. You can raise concerns about a Florida attorney with The Florida Bar. You can also contact us at support@malpracticeattorneys.com.

Participating firms

The law firms that take part in our service are listed on our Participating firms page.
